The Church of the Holy Family parish
has recently entered a twinning relationship with St. Jude parish
in Baptiste, Haiti,
part of the Hinche Diocese. Most of the people of Haiti speak Creole
and a few speak French, most are economically very poor, but spiritually
very rich. We're excited about developing a long term relationship
and solidarity with individuals of St. Jude Baptiste parish. Here are
some resources to give us newcomers to the twinning concept some idea of what
it's all about:
News:
- There will be a
sea container shipment to Haiti through the Twinning Program of the
Americas out of Nashville. The timeframe they are receiving

Tennessee. If you would like a packet with paperwork and
information, please email Patrice at the Diocesan office with your address.
- There is a new
airline service from Ft.Lauderdate to Port-au-Prince--Spirit
Airlines. Fares from Ronald Regan Washington National to Ft.
