  • Parish Life Committee

  • Be part of a team of people who plan for and implement the mission of the committee. Requires hands-on involvement in most social events as this is a working committee.  Commitment expected: occasional meetings; provide service at events as scheduled.

  • Neighborhood Leader

  • Church of the Holy Family is divided into over 50 neighborhoods.  Each neighborhood has a leader.  The leader’s main goal is to express a sense of generosity and openness to new parish members who move into their neighborhood, and to existing parishioners who haven’t quite found their niche in our family. They also act as a contact person from neighborhood to parish, visit newly registered parishioners, manage a telephone tree within your neighborhood, and give neighborhood opportunities to provide food for funeral hospitality when someone from a neighborhood dies, and for the Soup Kitchen (usually once every 12-18 months.)

The Fair Planning Committee, approximately 15-20 people, starts meeting in January to coordinate the mechanics of the Fair. The Fair is a wonderful way for the parishioners to meet their neighbors and have fun entertaining the many families that enjoy our festivities each year.

  • Funeral Hospitality

  • As a community, we celebrate the life and death of every one of our members with the offer of hospitality following a wake or funeral.  Our neighborhoods provide food for the reception, however, everyone is welcome to volunteer additional food items as the need arises.  We will compile a list for those who wish to participate in this important ministry.
