As
per our diocesan regulations, preparation for the sacrament of
Confirmation is a two year process. Students generally begin in the
sophomore and are confirmed in the spring of their junior year.
Students who have been active in their faith—attending Mass regularly
and participating in the formal religious education program may
register for Confirmation classes. A young person who has fallen away
from active involvement in the sacraments and/or formal religious
formation is encouraged to return to an active faith life before
preparing for Confirmation.
Year
1—Students may enroll in year one if they are entering 10th or 11th
grade. (Year one can also be accomplished if one attends a Catholic
High school.)
